SiliconStudio (basé a Tokyo), la boite pour laquelle je travaille depuis un an (Zavie de ctrl-alt-test y bosse aussi!) recherche des ingénieurs pour son département Middleware R&D et Online Division:

  • 1 Computer graphics R&D Software Engineer
  • 1 Online/R&D Division : Network Engineer

Description:

Silicon Studio provides highly effective entertainment technology for major game companies in Japan. The intern will be working on challenging R&D projects focusing on real-time 3D graphics or other aspects of game development to improve user experience.

We are looking for students in their final year interested in getting hired after their internship.

Requirements:
- C/C++
- Efficient programming, algorithm and code optimization
- Fluent English communication skills (Japanese and other languages also appreciated)

Appreciated:
- Experience in 3D API such as OpenGL or DirectX
- Web development (JS, HTML5, Database)
- Linux
- C# and WPF
- Android and/or iPhone development

mais quitte à parler de simulation de lentille ça serait pas mal s'ils ajoutaient un effet comme : http://youtu.be/4M-wfzuCgvs?hd=1&t=3m28s (regarder à 3min28, le début étant quelconque)

Ah non ! Y en a marre de cet effet de vignetting poussé à 200% !
Depuis qu'il est apparu dans video-copilot's lens flares, on le voit repompé de partout et spécialement depuis Battlefield 3 ! Perso, ça me pète les burnes ce truc sur-utilisé dès qu'on en a l'occasion : merde, nettoyez vos lentilles les mecs ! C'est quoi cette mode des caméras dégueu à la fin ? ;D

Non mais pour être honnête, ça devient un peu le nouvel El Dorado après l'ambient occlusion, la SSAO, le bloom, le color grading, etc.
On dirait vraiment qu'il y a des "modes" dans la realtime CG, ça fait un peu pitié car dès qu'un type fait un truc, c'est repompé par tout le monde et souvent avec mauvais goût (i.e. les réglages poussés à 3000% pour bien montrer qu'on l'a refait).

Là, les mecs ils font des trucs un peu hors des sentiers battus et c'est très bien comme ça je trouve...

haaaa la nostalgie des lens flares à la destruction derby etc ... ;)
